Jack was born in North Wales on 14th March 1921. He was married to Margaret from 1959. They had two children, Bronwen and Bryn and two grandaughters Jessica and Olivia. Jack was a survivor of The Battle of Arnhem in World War Two, as he was a member of the 1st Airborne Parachute Regiment. Jack loved sport and jazz music. He had run 5 marathons and over 60 other distance races. He lived most of his life in Windsor Berkshire.Jack was a great family man and was a much loved Dad, Granad, Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle. He died aged 92 of 2nd April 2013 of a stroke, at High Wycombe General Hospital. We thank the staff at the Stroke unit for their help and care over Jack's last two days.
